THE GLEN HALF-SIT

August 2021

I admit to waving a rather weepy goodbye to Kerrowmoar AKA Brahn.  We had grown very attached and he is such a character.  They really do steal a piece of your heart forever.  We see so much of his Mum and Grandma in him.

Brahn has gone to a wonderful forever home with Mary, dividing his time between London and the countryside.  He also has a new sister, Dash, to make mischief with!  We wish them many joyful years together.

Brahn's name suits him perfectly: Bran and Sceolan were the loyal hounds of Fionn mac Cumhaill, the Irish warrior of myth and legend.  I like to think that the brindle coat best explains the breed's eclectic Irish ancestry: Hound, with a touch of Wheaten and Kerry Blue thrown in for good measure!

Charismatic, affectionate and mischievous, Brahn also performed the Glen Sit back in the Puppy Pen.  He is most definitely a dog with an old soul.  Those eyes say: 'I know stuff.  I've been here before.'

We look forward to hearing all about his happy new life.

Here Comes Trouble!

Boot Camp

What a difference a month makes!  Brahn has experienced a significant growth spurt since we last saw him.  He is even more handsome than before, if that were possible!  He is now the same size as Dash and they remain inseparable; hogging the sofa together, despite the acquisition of a larger bed to contain them both!

Brahn has understandably taken London by storm and is a massive hit at Doggy Day Care.  He goes once a week and loves it.  Less keen on being groomed, Brahn is mollified by a penchant for peanut butter.  Mischievous, willful and inquisitive, he continues to keep Mary on her toes.  A million THANKS for the lovely photos.
