Farewell Summer!  Hello Autumn mud and mizzle!

We've just had an exciting August, with the cautious promise of more excitement to come.  Sky met the awesome Archie, aka Romainville Fast and Furious at Wickholm, and they did become intimately acquainted!  Not the most romantic of first encounters, as Archie somehow managed to vomit over poor Sky in his excitement.  I guess for dogs this is quite possibly the highest compliment you can pay a female as you attempt to woo her.  Smooth operator!  Massive THANKS to Joanne and Jamie for all their help.

Sky had to endure two trips to the vet for bloods before mating.  She was starting to get a tad upset and needle-phobic by the end, so we have opted not to have a blood test to confirm.  We're convinced that she is starting to show - pot belly notwithstanding!  We expect to see a more dramatic change in the next few weeks.  All being well, we would hope to hear the patter of not-so-tiny paws in mid-October.

If you are interested in owning a Glen of Imaal terrier puppy, please see this update.

And to all those lovely Glen-loving folk who have recently confirmed their interest, can we just say a HUGE THANK YOU for your patience and genuine commitment to giving a Glen a home.  Not for you, the ubiquitous Westie or Schnauzer!  Take heart that Glens are most definitely worth the wait.

In other news, we were chuffed to get a fantastic update from Helen with some gorgeous photos of Jeff - King of The Glennie!

And we are thrilled to share some of Buster's recent Photo Shoot, taken by brilliant dog photographers Pam and Bob Langrish.  Please do check out their website.  Big THANKS to Tina.

We have a FIRST PRIZE folks!  Teagan was in winning form this summer, back home in Ireland.

Plenty of Summer Pupdates and photos.  Check out the latest Autumn Pupdates too!

Finally, a real heart-warmer!  Get a load of Mallie!  Isn't she just gorgeous?  14 years young and thoroughly enjoying her walks in the breathtaking Cumbrian Fells and Scotland.  She looks right at home among all that rugged beauty.  Mallie is a much-loved rescue Glen.  Huge THANKS to Maggie and Mick for this beautiful photo:
